Applied Chemistry with Special Issue on International Women's Day

04.03.2019

On the occasion of International Women's Day on March 8, the journal "Angewandte Chemie" dedicates a special issue ("Women in Chemistry") to research by women in chemistry, including a scientific article by Annette Rompel of the Institute for Biophysical Chemistry.

The journal of the Gesellschaft Deutscher Chemiker (GDCh) presents research by chemists worldwide in a special issue and has set itself the goal of creating more visibility for leading working groups led by women.

"International Women's Day is celebrated every year on March 8, and Angewandte Chemie is compiling a Special Issue on Women in Chemistry to coincide with International Women's Day 2019. The Virtual Issue contains a preview of these papers, as well as manuscripts from female corresponding authors published in other issues."
