II Electrophilic Amide Activation for the α-Functionalisation of Carbonyls". His study "Metallfreie formale oxidative C‐C‐Kupplung durch In‐situ‐Erzeugung einer elektrophilen Enoloniumspezies" was published in the renowned journal Angewandte Chemie. He was selected as finalist in a field of 360 submissions from renowned universities around the globe.
