The John Templeton Foundation is a US-based private foundation funding research projects which are aligned with their eight funding areas: Philosophy & Theology, Mathematical & Physical Sciences, Character Virtue & Development, Public Engagement, Life Sciences, Individual Freedom & Free Markets, Human Sciences and Culture & Global Perspectives. The application process has two stages: the first stage begins with an Online Funding Inquiry (OFI) and, if invited, a detailed full proposal has to be submitted in stage two. The next submission deadline for Online Funding Inquiries (OFI) is on 15 July 2026.
