The University of Vienna is offering seed fundings to support Principal Investigators (PIs) in preparing proposals for EU or national funding for collaborative research projects together with partners from industry & society on topics related to the four “green” EU Missions (Climate, Soil, Cities, Waters).
Minimum budget of project proposals eligible: € 250,000
The goal of this seed funding is to assist researchers in developing high-quality project proposals and increasing their chances of success. The funding can be used, e.g., for organizing workshops with project partners, covering one travel trip per UniVie PI, and obtaining professional support for proposal preparation, such as hiring a proposal writer or graphic designer.
The total budget for this pilot call is approximately €50,000 per year.
Application Deadline & Decision
Funding applications can be submitted at any time but must be sent at least 12 weeks before the planned submission of the final proposal to the funding agency.
Funding decisions for this seed funding will be communicated within two weeks after application.
