Title: "New and emerging technologies for Digital Agriculture and Food Applications for Earth and Space"

Abstract:

The Digital Agriculture, Food, and Wine (DAFW) Research Group is leading advancements in the integration of cutting-edge technologies to revolutionize the entire food supply chain, from production to consumption. A primary focus is on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance agricultural efficiency, sustainability, and resilience. This research extends beyond Earth through collaboration with the ARC Centre of Excellence in Plants for Space (2024–2030), where AI-driven solutions are being developed to address the challenges of long-term space exploration. By advancing innovative approaches for food production in extraterrestrial environments, this work seeks to redefine the future of agriculture, both on Earth and in space.
