Dies facultatis 2019

Chemistry is not everything, but everything is chemistry - On Monday, 30 September, the Faculty Day Chemistry 2019 took place in the Carl Auer von Welsbach lecture hall. Freddy Kleitz from the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry - Functional Materials gave his inaugural lecture. New research groups of the faculty introduced themselves to the nearly 180 guests and the faculty's Scientific Advisory Board. In addition, the faculty celebrated the 50th anniversary of the doctorate of four colleagues and thanked Othmar Steinhauser from the Institute of Computational Biological Chemistry for his services on the occasion of his Emeritierung. Afterwards, there was the opportunity for further discussions over food and drink.
