The Spin-off Austria Initiative has the long-term objective to establish entrepreneurship as third mission within Austrian universities, universities of applied sciences and research institutions, besides research and teaching. This year's second edition of the Spin-off Austria conference aims to explore the diversity of entrepreneurial careers within the academic context. Internationally renowned experts such as (Co-Founder & CMO of BioNTech SE), (Founder of SynBioBeta), (Vice President for Technology Transfer at the Weizmann Institute of Science) and numerous more share their personal stories and entrepreneurial highlights. At vivid expert panel discussions, the audience is invited to learn more about topics such as Austrian tech transfer in practice, corporate collaboration with start-ups, or venture capital for spin-offs. The conference is also about bringing science-based entrepreneurs into the spotlight, as successful Austrian founders will share insights on their journey with the audience.
