In honour of the extraordinary merits, extensive and long-standing scientific activities of Univ.Prof. Dr Helmut Sinzinger, the company Fresenius Medical Care GmbH, Lundenburgergasse 5, 1210 Vienna (hereinafter referred to as the sponsor) is offering an annual award amounting to EUR 5,000 until further notice for the best publication published (or demonstrably accepted) in the past calendar year in the fields of lipometabolic disorders, atherosclerotic diseases and their latest diagnostic and therapeutic options (including lipoprotein apheresis). All persons, regardless of their nationality, who have studied at a university in Austria or are employed in Austria and have written a relevant scientific paper as first author in the past year are invited to apply to the Board of Trustees of the Society of Physicians in Vienna and the AAA - Austrian Apheresis Association.
